Between the years of 1858-1889 a man known as the “Leatherman" traveled the same 365–mile circuit, walking in a clockwise loop around Connecticut and parts of New York State, following the same path every 34 days for 31 years until his death. Wandering between different towns every day, he never accepted an invitation to sleep indoors, hardly ever spoke, and never took off his bizarre sixty-pound suit of leather–– this is a film about his journey and the people who are inspired by him.
